2016 > 35 Paths

35 Pigment Prints
20" x 20" each

During 35 day artist residency at Burren College of Art, I intentionally sought out a different walking path each morning from the village accommodations to the artist studio 2 miles away. There are many paths that lead to the studio from the village. Some are more direct, while others led me meandering twice the distance to arrive at my destination. I allowed the various paths to dictate my walking commute while consciously avoiding any previously traveled ways. This process links to my daily ascension of Cappanawalla Mountain located directly behind the studio. I invite you to refer to the essay "Climbing Cappanawalla" on this website for further inquiry into these wayward paths during my Burren artist residency.
